Amanda is an Accredited Play Therapist, Registered SandStory Therapist®, Emotional Regulation Practitioner, and Certified SandStory Skills® Trainer. With over 25 years of experience in childcare and education, she is deeply passionate about supporting the emotional wellbeing of children, young people, and adults through creative and trauma-informed approaches.
As the founder of Panda Play Therapy, Amanda offers a calm and nurturing space where individuals can safely explore their feelings, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of self. She works therapeutically with children and young people through Play Therapy, and with children, young people, and adults through SandStory Therapy® and Emotional Regulation practice.

Amanda also trains and mentors professionals in the SandStory Skills® approach, empowering schools and childcare settings to better support emotional and mental health. Her compassionate and grounded presence lies at the heart of everything she does, helping each person feel seen, heard, and understood.
Nicky is a Therapeutic Practitioner, Drawing and Talking Advanced Practitioner, and SandStory Skills® Practitioner, trained by Panda Play Therapy. With over 15 years of experience supporting children and young people, Nicky is passionate about helping them make sense of their inner world through creativity, play, and connection.
Her work is grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice, with extensive training in emotional regulation, sensory processing, and the neuroscience of wellbeing. Nicky has trained with leading professionals such as Dr Karen Treisman, Dr Dan Hughes, and Louise Bomber, continually developing her expertise to support children with compassion and understanding.
